The Specialness of New Homes

The Specialness of New Homes

The Specialness of New Homes

There is something special about a new home. And something special about selling them.

The opportunity to begin with a blank canvass. Collaborating with development and design teams to paint a picture of what a space can become. Creating environments that will inspire and enhance the lives of those who will live there through thoughtful planning, layered with elegant features and good design.

From there, the planning shifts to marketing and sales strategy and execution. An intensive effort that can last months or years, depending upon the project’s scope.

As a project nears completion as it is now at The Saint James, there is a common thread that resonates across my experiences—a resounding sense of gratitude and pride. For the opportunity to be part of forging a concept into something concrete and beautiful, to realize success, to work with and learn from great talent, and to witness a family’s palpable excitement as they anticipate new hopes, new joys, new beginnings, in their new home, just as we intended.

A special reward in itself.

I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and look forward to what’s next.

Ahead of the Curve
Exclusive Insights on New Developments

In today’s competitive market for new construction and turnkey homes, having early access is key. We work closely with developers and other agents to stay ahead of notable new construction projects before they hit the market.

Here are a couple of developments to watch. If you would like to receive additional details or schedule a presentation with the developer and sales team, I would be pleased to assist you.

405 W Armitage

Highly regarded Barrett Homes is developing an elegant brick, four-story, six-unit boutique elevator building at 405 W Armitage Ave. with commercial space at grade level. There will be two, single-level, four-bedroom homes per floor featuring 2,500 square feet of well-appointed interiors, large private terraces and two garage parking spaces per residence. I have collaborated with Barrett on several occasions—they produce top-quality work and an outstanding client experience and have enlisted En Masse, a respected architectural and design firm, to fashion the interiors.

This will be a special offering that will likely sell out before construction is completed by early 2026. Prices from $2.3M to $2.6M. One Penthouse is sold.

West Lakeview Row Homes

A collection of 35 new construction row homes bordering the Chicago Riverwalk from award-winning ZSD Development. Each four-to-five-bedroom home will offer a two-car private garage and multiple outdoor spaces. Pre-construction prices from $1.2M to $2M. Delivering summer 2026.
