2024 has been a year of change.
It began with my move to @properties CHRISTIE’S International Real Estate after nearly a decade at Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty. I long admired the company’s leadership and commitment to innovation and saw exciting opportunities with their purchase of CHRISTIE’S International Real Estate. A global luxury heritage brand, headquartered in Chicago. The recent announcement of Compass Real Estate’s planned acquisition of @properties and CHRISTIE’S testifies to my sound decision. Two leading innovators are coming together to accelerate growth and opportunity.
The real estate industry is amid momentous change and consolidation. Leverage and collaboration are essential to thriving in this new environment. Collaboration with fellow agents, locally and on a broader level.
For years, I have been building alliances with other growth-minded, service-driven agents and entrepreneurs in markets I am drawn to, where my clients have shown interest and where there is dynamic energy and expansion. That effort will become more intentional.
Yes, industry tides are shifting. The intersection of real estate with design, hospitality and lifestyle continues to unfold and exciting, new opportunities are forming. I am passionate about entrepreneurialism and am actively pursuing new possibilities, identifying new ways to serve my clients and exploring new pathways for growth.
Who Not How by Dan Sullivan and Benjamin Hardy is an exceptional book that embodies this philosophy. I am grateful for my “Whos” and optimistic about new partnerships yet to be.
